Orthodontists straighten teeth with braces and clear aligners; endodontists handle root canals; periodontists treat gum disease and place implants; oral and maxillofacial surgeons extract wisdom teeth, place implants and do jaw surgery, often under IV sedation; prosthodontists rebuild smiles with crowns, bridges and dentures; denture centers focus on full and partial dentures, relines and repairs. Sedation and hospital dentists serve anxious patients and people with special needs, while TMJ and sleep-apnea dentists make oral appliances for jaw pain and snoring.

Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Brooklyn follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

in January I had a tooth extracted and a bone graft put in.almost immediately I began having extreme pain in the ENTIRE left side of my face.not one of the many types of doctors, including the original surgeon; suggested a debridement procedure for possible relief. that is until I had the great luck in finding the kind, caring and very knowledgeable Dr frank chionchio in July, there aren't enough adjectives to thank him for what he did for me! I would be remiss if I did not mention his wonderful staff.

Dr. Chionchio is a great Oral Surgeon. He removed two failed implants for me. My only issue with him is that he is very very expensive. I could have had the same work done for one third the price that he charged by a highly respected surgeon . I wish he would have informed me of the costs of the removal and the panoramic x-ray before he did them. Live and learn...

Dr. Chionchio is amazing. Great bedside manner, he explains everything very clearly and doesn't push for unnecessary procedures. I had to remove a wisdom tooth that bothered for years. I put off the extraction based a prior very bad experience with another oral surgeon. When I couldn't wait any longer, I went to see Dr. Chionchio who simply performed a miracle. I felt absolutely nothing during the extraction and whole procedure lasted a mere 30 minutes. Two follow ups later and I'm back in great shape. Along the way, Dr. Chionchio recommended me a periodontist who is equally qualified and great. I highly recommend Dr. Chionchio.

I went to Dr Chionchio when other oral surgeon’s wouldn’t help and some offices were downright awful. This office took the time to assist me and when there was an issue with my insurance like there always is, they were quick to come up with solutions and worked with me so Dr Chionchio would extract my wisdom tooth for the day we scheduled. Dr Chionchio was very soft spoken and intelligent and kept me calm and comfortable while yanking a stubborn tooth. He was so good in fact, a few months later i went back to get my other wisdom tooth yanked. Dr Chionchio is by far the best. In my opinion, no other oral surgeon exists.

Very clean office. Dr. Chionchio took excellent care of my daughter who went for oral surgery. She had impacted and infected wisdom teeth. He had great bedside manners and made my daughter feel very safe and comfortable. I had to page him the next day for the normal concerns and it was Thanksgiving Weekend. He was extremely helpful and didn’t seem bothered at all. He took his time to answer my questions. I highly recommend him.
